Our Family Renewal Program provides education and support to the families of those going through inpatient addiction treatment in our clinic. This program is essential to the success of our clients’ recovery, and it helps to eliminate the stigma of addiction.
Addiction is a tough battle to face alone, which is why it’s extremely important to engage the family during treatment and recovery. Not only does it increase the chances of staying sober, but it helps eliminate the stigma of addiction.
Our Family Renewal Program is aimed at educating the families of those going through our residential program. You will understand Substance-Use Disorder and how we treat it, how to overcome negative effects resulting from engaging in addictive behaviors, how to create healthy new behaviors to replace old unhealthy behaviors (such as enabling), how to adjust to the recovery.
Starting the journey towards recovery as a family can be intimidating, especially when there’s limited knowledge about addiction and treatment. The most crucial thing to understand is that addiction is not a choice, but rather a brain disease that is closely tied to mental health. Given the pain and damage caused by a loved one’s addictive behaviors, it’s understandable that families may hesitate to get involved in the recovery process. However, we consistently urge families to stay committed to supporting their loved one’s path to sobriety.
At Ethan Health, we understand that addiction is a disease that affects not only the individual but also their loved ones. That’s why we offer comprehensive Family Therapy sessions to family members of those in our inpatient/residential program as part of our treatment program. Our licensed therapists work with families to foster healthy communication, set boundaries, and establish trust. We also provide education on addiction and its effects on families, equipping them with the tools they need to support their loved ones on the journey to recovery.
We use evidence-based treatment that has been scientifically tested and proven to produce positive results. Ranging from cognitive behaviour therapy to dialectical therapy, we do what it takes to make you healthy.
You deserve individualized attention from experienced professionals who actually care. Our reputation, small case load and success rates mean you are given the best addiction treatment Richmond offers.
Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) helps to relieve withdrawal symptoms and cravings which makes going clean easier. We treat addiction with FDA-approved medicines such as Suboxone (a treatment combining buprenorphine and naloxone) and Vivitrol (a naltrexone treatment) to help you focus on your recovery.
Significantly lower staff-patient ratios than other larger clinics ensures a highly effective and individualized level of care. You are not just a number when it comes to being treated with us.
If you are a family member of one of our clients that is in our residential/inpatient program then you are eligible to participate in our family therapy program.
