Yes. You must be opioid-free for at least 7-14 days before starting Vivitrol® to avoid withdrawal symptoms. It is also important to be alcohol free.

No. We offer a comprehensive treatment program that includes individual and group counseling, family therapy, other medication management (Suboxone® & Methadone), support groups, and wellness programs. Vivitrol® is one component of a holistic approach.
