Below you will find answers to the questions that the staff at our recovery centers in Kentucky gets asked the most. If you have a question that you can’t find the answer to, please contact us via the form below.
We offer four levels of treatment:
Our recovery center does not prescribe Methadone or Subutex. However, we do prescribe Suboxone and Vivitrol.
If needing Methadone dosing whilst in inpatient/residential treatment, we work with BHG and will take you to and from the BHG facility for daily dosing whilst you undertake treatment at our facility.
Payment is made under your Medicaid Insurance which usually covers the whole cost of the program, meaning no out of pocket expenses to you. Our staff can look up your insurance via our systems and let you know whether you are covered or not.
We do not accept Medicare alone, however, we do accept dual coverage of Medicare & Medicaid.
We do accept all Medicaid.
We also accept most commercial insurances.
We do not accept self-pay.
As a new patient, you would be required to come to the office once a week for screening. This could change over time based on what the nurses see from your drug, alcohol, and/or opioid treatment.
Kentucky law requires medication (e.g. Suboxone, Vivitrol etc.) assisted treatment providers to require screening from patients.
Telehealth is available for outpatient services. This means that all appointments will be completed from home through zoom except for your weekly urine drug screens, in which you will have to come to the office for.
Unfortunately, we do not accept pregnant clients. We typically refer Burlington clients to Journey Recovery Center. For Richmond clients, we refer to UK Beyond Birth Comprehensive Recovery Center in Lexington or Freedom Treatment in Richmond.
There’s no set period that works for everyone when it comes to alcohol and drug rehab treatment. Our alcohol and drug addiction help is individualized for each client.
An outpatient rehab program offers drug and alcohol treatment sessions that can be scheduled during various times throughout the week. This schedule allows patients to continue with their regular responsibilities and continue living at home, but they are required to check into treatment at their allotted times for counseling and medication.
Outpatient programs come in two varieties of formats, standard and IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program), both of which have different differing levels of intensity and time commitments.
A standard outpatient program requires a commitment of around 1-2 hours/week. IOP requires around 9 hours/week spread across 3-5 days/week.
Inpatient treatment for substance addiction is a structured program that provides 24-hour care for people struggling with addiction. It includes medical supervision, counseling, and education. The goal is to help patients achieve and maintain recovery. Treatment typically lasts from 28-45 days.
